How you can help.

The Gaslight Theatre accepts donations of almost any kind. However, cash is especially helpful.

We have six levels of monetary Patronage:

  • Saint - $500 and above. Saints receive a special gift of two season tickets for the current season.
  • Archangel - $250 and above. Archangels receive a special gift of four regular tickets to the performance of their choice in the current season.
  • Angel - $100 and above. Angels receive a special gift of two regular tickets to the performance of their choice in the current season.
  • Comet - $50 and above.
  • Star - $25 and above.
  • Regular - $10 and above.

All Patrons will be registered in the Patron Register.

There are other ways to help.

Art room supplies and equipment, interesting period items and clothing pieces for the prop room, and equipment for set-building are always needed.

Since the Gaslight Theatre is an all-volunteer organization, opportunities abound for individuals who love theatre. Some opportunities are:

  • Directors and Actors - This is always our greatest need. If you have any interest and/or experience and would like to either act or direct an upcoming production, please contact us. We need you.
  • Set Builders, Painters - Got a hammer, know how to paint, or sew and make costumes? Let us know.  We can always use enthusiastic people to get our productions ready for opening night.
  • Stage Managers - These guys and gals keep the actors and actresses on their toes and keep the play running smoothly.
  • Lights and Sound - If you like to help with special effects and have some experience, come join us.
  • Hosts and Hostesses - It is always fun for our hosts and hostesses who greet our guests, assist them in locating their seat and help with food service if necessary. Hosts and hostesses are also responsible for table set-up prior to the performance.
  • Housekeeping - Since we serve a buffet meal, we need individuals who enjoy interacting with our patrons while serving beverages and clearing tables after the meal.
  • Reservations - This committee is responsible for taking reservations over the phone and serving as box office personnel for play performances.
